Hey, I’m Claire. I started The Plant Girl as a way to share my love and learning of plants. 🪴I have learned so much by just getting my hands dirty every day.

I was born in Myrtle Beach, but have lived in Alaska, California, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. I spent three years total traveling in an RV with my husband and daughter. In college, I visited Kenya, and other countries, which was life-changing, for sure.

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in English and a minor in Spanish. I loved studying journalism and marketing, and I have a social media management company on the side.

We homeschool, bake sourdough weekly, and garden year-round. We love beach life and being involved in our community.

My husband (of almost 15 years) and I love what we do, and we make a great team!
